It is not limited to applying nail polish – it also involves various techniques, materials, and decorations that give the nails an aesthetic and sometimes artistic appearance.

    The goal of nail styling is both to enhance the look of natural nails and to protect them, while also allowing you to express your personal style through a variety of colors and designs.

    What are the types of nail styling?

    The most popular types of nail styling include:
    Classic Manicure – nail care, shaping, cuticle removal, and application of polish.

    Hybrid Manicure – long-lasting polish cured under a UV or LED lamp, lasting several weeks.

    Gel Nails – application of builder gel to shape and extend the nail plate.

    What are the latest trends in manicure?

    Currently, minimalist “soap nails” are trending – semi-transparent nails with a satin finish. Natural nude shades, pastel colors, and warm tones like Mocha Mousse are also in fashion.

    For nail art, glass nails, quartz effects, and modern French designs – featuring double or asymmetrical lines rather than the classic style – are very popular. Additionally, various motifs such as botanical, geometric, abstract, and for the bold, animal prints are trending.

    If you want your nails to look younger, light, natural colors work best. Shades like beige, warm peach, sandy tones, coffee with milk, and all soft, muted colors close to your natural skin tone look great.

    Which nail technique is the best?

    The best method is nail extensions. First, the nails are prepared – cuticles are pushed back and the desired length is shaped. Then a base is applied and cured under a lamp, and a form is attached under the free edge of the nail to extend the nail plate.

    How do you do nails, and what is the procedure, especially for hybrid or gel nails?

    It’s basically a few simple steps:
    1. Nail Preparation
    First, remove any old polish.
    Shape the nails – almond, square, or any style you like.
    Gently push back or remove cuticles.
    Buff the nails with a polishing block and clean off any dust.
    Finally, degrease the nail plate with a cleaner.

    2. Applying Products
    Primer – a thin layer to help the base adhere better.
    Base coat – cure under a lamp.
    Color – apply two thin layers of colored polish, curing each layer.
    Top coat – adds shine and durability, also cured under the lamp.
    If the top coat is not “no wipe,” clean the nails with a cleaner to remove the sticky layer.

    Finish by massaging cuticle oil around the nails to moisturize and nourish them.
